Harjot Singh Bains has directed all government and private universities and colleges to prioritise students safety and well-being by ensuring a secure environment. In a press communique issued here today, S. Harjot Singh Bains categorically said that the educational institutes must ensure the safety and well-being of students who remain on campus, providing them with food, shelter, care and essential services, without compelling any student to leave campus if the students unable or unwilling due to safety, transport or personal reasons.
