577 SMUGGLERS HELD WITH DRUGS IN 103 DAYS OF ‘YUDH NASHIAN VIRUDH’ IN JALANDHAR CITY

Jalandhar, June 12: Under the Punjab Government's decisive war against drugs, namely *“Yudh Nashian Virudh”*, launched on the directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to eradicate the drug menace from the state, the campaign has completed 103 days today. Under this unique initiative, Jalandhar Commissionerate Police, led by Commissioner of Police Dhanpreet Kaur, have arrested 577 drug smugglers and recovered massive drug consignments in 410 cases.
